About The Role

Join our team as a Commercial Finance Manager (Subscriptions) and play a key role in driving financial performance and strategy development. You will focus on the subscription business while also maintaining broader commercial finance responsibilities. Your tasks will include reviewing monthly performance reports, developing financial models, analyzing key subscription metrics, and integrating financial strategy into growth initiatives. You will also manage a finance analyst and work with the wider finance team to maintain a culture of continuous improvement.

Ownership of monthly reporting on performance of business units to support achievement of business and financial objectives.
Development and maintenance of sophisticated subscription financial models to improve forecasting accuracy and support pricing and packaging decisions.
Monitoring and analysis of key subscription metrics (LTV, Churn, ARPU, CAC) to identify growth opportunities and investment returns.
Strong understanding of subscription economics (LTV, CAC, Churn, ARPU) and modeling techniques
Collaborative, engaging and influencing communication style
Can demonstrate the gravitas to provide insightful challenge to senior executives
Problem solver and innovator
Qualified accountant
Intermediate/Advanced Excel
Experience working within a subscription-based business
Organised, structured and results focused
Values and understands the importance of, and can present information neatly and professionally
Good knowledge of finance systems
Excellent attention to detail
