About The Role

Join our team as a CRM Subscriptions Executive, where you will lead the development and automation of personalized subscriber journeys through Braze. You will leverage data-driven insights to drive engagement with our journalism, improve operational efficiencies, and maximize subscription revenue. Your responsibilities will include mapping out personalized customer journeys, owning the CRM calendar, segmenting audiences, tailoring content messaging, implementing cross-channel CRM lifecycle campaigns, conducting A/B tests, and working closely with cross-functional teams.

  • Lead the development and automation of personalized subscriber journeys through Braze, leveraging data-driven insights to drive engagement and maximize subscription revenue.
  • Map out personalized customer journeys across multiple channels, tailoring content messaging and subscription offers based on reader preferences and lifecycle stages.
  • Implement cross-channel CRM lifecycle campaigns, conducting A/B tests to optimize personalization strategies, messaging, and content delivery for maximum impact.
  • Ability in interpreting results and communicating insights effectively to stakeholders
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and creating processes in complex environments to drive progress
  • Results-driven marketer with proven quantitative and analytical skills
  • Strong grasp of core subscription metrics (e.g., Churn, LTV, CAC, Trial Conversion Rate) and knowledge of how to use data to inform lifecycle design and drive habit-forming user behaviour (like daily reading or app adoption)
  • Knowledge of Braze (or equivalent enterprise CRM system) across campaign programming, conditional logic, A/B optimisation, data management, and identifying subscriber-level insights
  • Previous experience working within a media, digital publishing, or newspaper environment, with a strong understanding of a subscription-first (B2C) business model is highly preferred
  • High organisation skills, with meticulous attention to detail
