About The Role
Join ISS STOXX LiquidMetrix as a Market Data Analyst in London. In this role, you will evaluate and onboard cross-asset class data feeds for our Venue Analytics, Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA), and Trade Surveillance products. You will work closely with expert Product Data and Development teams to deliver project Proof of Concepts (POCs) and enrich the Product offering for our clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop expertise in multiple facets of market data and venue & execution analytics while working with cutting-edge products in a fast-paced environment.
- Evaluating and onboarding cross-asset class data feeds for Venue Analytics, Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA), and Trade Surveillance products.
- Working closely with Product Data and Development teams to deliver project Proof of Concepts (POCs) that guide project roadmaps and enrich the Product offering.
- Developing global market data and referential data coverage, including onboarding new market venues and maintaining an extensive reference database.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience
- Scripting: SQL (intermediate as a minimum), Python. Experience in object-oriented programming a bonus
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and complex challenges
- An understanding of data modelling techniques (both supervised and unsupervised), applying goodness-of-fit measures and AI highly desirable
- Good communication and written skills, and the ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels, with both internal and external parties
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, including macros, pivot tables, functions & charts. Experience with analytical tools, such as PowerBI, Tableau, Jupyter etc, as well as Rest APIs is desirable
- Educated to degree level in Finance, Mathematics or similar Quantitative discipline
- Excellent analytical skills and an ability to understand technically complex problems
- The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team or individually. Experienced in data management and analysis, they will be calm under pressure and have excellent prioritisation skills:
- Proven experience working with financial market data and/or referential data and an interest in further developing a career in Finance
- Ability to work with, manipulate and analyse large datasets (such as Level 2 and Level 3 orderbook data)
