Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Join Axion as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in shaping and scaling our cloud infrastructure. You'll design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate deployment workflows, ensure system reliability and security, and support rapid development cycles. You'll work closely with engineering leadership to drive infrastructure decisions and enable product teams to ship faster with confidence. • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate deployment workflows, and ensure system reliability and security.
• Build and improve Axion's cloud infrastructure on GCP, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Establish and maintain observability across the stack, lead incident response efforts, and drive a culture of reliability and continuous improvement.

• Strong background in observability tooling (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent)
• Strong proficiency with Kubernetes — cluster management, networking, scaling, and troubleshooting
• Solid Terraform experience — writing modular, reusable, production-grade infrastructure-as-code
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling
• Experience at a venture-backed startup preferred
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a bias toward action
• Deep hands-on experience with GCP (Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, or similar services)
• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering
• Must be based in the Eastern or Central time zones
• Experience using agents to accelerate delivery
• Experience managing infrastructure for FedRAMP environments
