Security Specialist

Join our team as a Security Specialist II, where you will play a crucial role in supporting and administering our organizational security operations. In this dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will execute procedures and processes to provide physical protection for personnel and company property, utilize security technology, process security clearances, conduct investigations, and manage classified information. • Support and administer organizational security operations, including executing procedures and processes to provide physical protection for personnel and company property.
• Utilize security technology such as cameras, access control systems, surveillance cameras, and intrusion detection systems to enhance security operations.
• Process security clearances for various programs, conduct and manage investigations related to security incidents, and perform interviews as part of these investigations.
• Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)
• Typically 2+ years of related experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance
• Knowledge of the NISPOM and classified information management and processing
• Experience in managing investigations and conducting interviews

• Must have above average industrial security knowledge
• Ability to navigate government websites for security-related information
• Previous experience with access control/visit control/badge management systems and software
• Experience with processing security clearances and security clearance tools such as SIMS, DISS, JADE, Talon, and Scattered Castles
• Knowledge of DD254 and Program Classification Guides
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Previous experience in security operations, law enforcement, or a related field
