About The Role

Join Dealpath, the AI-powered operating system for institutional real estate investing. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will ship features that directly impact the workflows of firms managing trillions in real assets. You will work closely with product and design, raise the bar on code quality, and help the team grow. Benefits include equity grant, 401k plan, medical, vision, and dental coverage, flexible vacation plan, health and wellness stipend, fully-stocked kitchen, commuter reimbursement, and a hybrid work policy.

  • Ship customer-facing features that directly impact the workflows of leading real estate investors.
  • Utilize AI coding tools as a core part of the development process, enhancing productivity and code quality.
  • Take ownership of the entire development process, from shaping the product with the team to seeing it through to production.
  • BS in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or 8+ years of industry experience
  • 4+ years building web application back-ends — Ruby, Flask, Node, or similar
  • 4+ years building web application front-ends — React, Angular, Vue, or similar
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools — Cursor, Claude Code, or similar — in real production work
  • Demonstrated ability to own features end-to-end and deliver without heavy oversight
  • Strong code review habits — you evaluate AI-generated code by the same standard as hand-written code, catching bugs, edge cases, security gaps, and performance issues before they ship
  • Product sense — you think about the user and the business, not just the implementation, and understand how your work connects to customer outcomes
  • Mentorship orientation — you give feedback that builds judgment in others, not just fixes the immediate issue
  • CS fundamentals — solid grasp of data structures, system design, and the ability to reason about performance, reliability, and data integrity tradeoffs
  • Clear communication — written and verbal, you can articulate technical tradeoffs to engineers and non-technical partners alike
  • AI fluency — you direct tools like Claude Code or Cursor effectively: describe the problem clearly, generate code and tests, evaluate output critically, and iterate until it's right
  • Independence — you take ownership end-to-end, navigate ambiguity, and deliver without being managed step-by-step
  • Experience integrating LLM APIs or building AI-assisted workflows in production
  • Background in high-growth SaaS
  • Interest in commercial real estate or fintech
