Principal Platform Architect

Join Alteryx, a leading data analytics company, as a Principal Platform Architect. In this role, you will lead cross-cutting architectural initiatives that span the entire software stack, driving system-wide evolution and ensuring consistent, scalable outcomes. You will work closely with product, platform, and infrastructure teams to turn complex changes into concrete, deliverable systems. Your responsibilities will include leading large-scale efforts, bridging platform and application teams, enabling execution across teams, and driving alignment and decision-making.

• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (GCP preferred), Kubernetes, and distributed systems
• Experience working in ambiguous environments with evolving constraints
• Ability to assess impact across many services and teams
• Architectural judgment
• Willing to engage directly with systems and teams to unblock progress and validate ideas
• Experience defining internal platform standards or developer workflows
• Background in data platforms or analytics systems
• Familiarity with internal developer platforms (IDPs)
