Senior Developer Platform Engineer

Join Alteryx as a Senior Developer Platform Engineer, where you'll focus on enhancing developer productivity through AI-powered tooling and streamlined workflows. You'll work closely with architects and teammates to implement architectural vision and drive operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include improving the software delivery lifecycle, implementing automated testing frameworks, integrating AI-based tools, and enhancing core components of the developer platform. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our developer experience and platform performance.

• Senior: 5+ years in progressively complex software engineering roles
• Experienced at end-to-end delivery of internal engineering systems - from discovery and tech approach definition to rollout and iteration
• Expertise in scoping and delegating work to teammates
• Microservices deployment on Kubernetes (AWS, GCP, Azure), with various strategies (canary, blue-green, etc.)
• Proven experience implementing platform, infrastructure, or developer tooling solutions
• Building and maintaining efficient CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins) to automate testing and deployment
• GitOps, ArgoCD, local dev and build tooling (such as Gradle/Bazel)
• Experience supporting developer experience (DevEx) tooling
• Scripting and automation, specific for release and build management
