Account Executive (Credit)

In this role, you will engage with a curated list of lenders, identify partnership opportunities, and own the end-to-end sales process. • Engaging a curated list of lenders that don't currently work with Plaid, identifying opportunities to partner, and owning the end-to-end sales process.
• Working with Plaid's existing lending customers, deeply understanding their business, and aligning our solutions to help them achieve both near and long-term goals.
• Developing a book of high-potential engaged prospects and maintaining a sufficient pipeline to support successful attainment against quota.
• Excellent prospecting, qualifying, and negotiating skills; consultative sales approach with a customer-centric mindset
• Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of an organization, without being perceived as ‘salesy’
• Professional yet relaxed communication style, with the ability to break-down complex concepts and explain them in simple terms to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Working knowledge of APIs and a desire to understand how Plaid works 'under the hood'
• A minimum of 5+ years in a quota-carrying direct sales role (with a strong track record of attainment), preferably within the consumer lending or credit space
