About The Role

Join Plaid's Europe team, a startup within a well-established company, dedicated to creating Europe-specific payment and credit products. As a Software Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, build frameworks and tooling, and localize products for the European market. You will have a significant opportunity to shape Plaid's direction and strategy in Europe, with your contributions being highly visible and crucial to our success.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and improve Europe-specific payments and credit products.
Build frameworks and tooling to ensure Plaid has the most resilient and highest-performing integrations with European banks.
Deeply understand client needs and architect solutions tailored to their use cases, owning projects and following best practices.
Experience working with large scale backend systems
2-5 years of experience as a product engineer working full-stack (backend-leaning)
Excellent coding and testing skills
Experience working with Open Banking APIs
Experience working on payments products or in the payments space
