About The Role

Join Plaid's TechOps team as a Technical Operations Engineer. You'll be responsible for managing and improving our internal systems, tools, and infrastructure. This role involves automation, security, and collaboration with various teams. Own and improve Okta configuration, including lifecycle policies, access reviews, MFA enforcement, and Workflows automation.
Manage endpoint configuration via Iru or Kandji, with a preference for policy-as-code and version-controlled configurations.
Build and maintain automation that reduces repetitive support burden.
Experience with Slack
Experience with configuration as code, such as Terraform
Experience using and managing major central business and development systems
Experience with Google Workspace
Experience with Linear, Jira, or other ticketing platforms
Experience leveraging Claude Code, Codex, or similar tools to improve the quality and efficiency of the solutions you build
Experience with mobile device management for Apple devices such as Iru, Intune, or Workspace One
3+ years of experience supporting a large fleet of macOS devices
Experience with Bash or Python scripting
Experience working in a high-growth environment with broad ownership across internal systems
