About The Role

Join Snowflake's Apps & Experiences (AppEx) organization as a Software Engineer. You will play a central role in delivering the next generation of tools and evolving our developer infrastructure and tooling to be scalable, highly performant, and AI-first. Your responsibilities will include designing and building AI-first platforms, driving strategy and initiatives to improve development workflows, and collaborating with various teams to drive end-to-end solutions. You will also contribute to improving our engineering processes, tooling, and standards.

Design and build AI-first platforms, tools, and best practices to significantly enhance the developer experience for Snowsight.
Drive strategy and initiatives to improve agentic development workflows and build infrastructure to support 10x increases in developer productivity.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, other engineering teams, and business groups, to drive end-to-end solutions.
Experience working on enterprise-grade build systems
Passion for AI-first processes and for building platforms that enable many teams to move faster while keeping systems maintainable and safe
A strategic mindset and strong sense of what to prioritize for maximum impact
Excellent problem solving skills, and strong CS fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems
Outstanding written and oral English language skills
Experience with or strong interest in AI or LLM-based applications (agents, prompt/tool engineering, evals, or productionized AI features)
Ability to work on-site at our Bellevue, WA or Menlo Park, CA offices
Fluency in Go, Java, or Python
Ability to work in a team environment, collaborate well, and mentor junior engineers
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Strong passion for making developers highly productive
