Staff Research Scientist (AI Agents & LLLMs)

Join our AI research organization as a Staff Research Scientist, where you will define roadmaps and build models and systems that turn enterprise data into self-directed, decision-making agents. You will focus on core challenges such as reliable reasoning, long-horizon planning, grounded generation, and scalable model and agent development. Additionally, you will mentor and lead the team, contribute to the field through publications and open source, and drive research breakthroughs into production within Snowflake’s platform.

• Definir e executar roadmaps de pesquisa em inteligência artificial, focando em agentes autônomos e modelos de linguagem de grande escala.
• Desenvolver e avançar modelos e sistemas que transformam dados empresariais em agentes autônomos, promovendo a execução autônoma.
• Mentorar e liderar a equipe, amplificando o impacto técnico e contribuindo para a publicação e o código aberto.
• Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field with a strong publication record
• Strong systems thinking under real-world constraints (latency, cost, reliability)
• Experience with agentic systems (multi-agent systems, tool use, or agent optimization)
• Expertise in LLM development (training, fine-tuning, alignment, or post-training)
• Ability to translate research into impactful systems
• Proven technical leadership and end-to-end ownership
