About The Role
Join Skylo, a leading technology company, as an IT Manager. In this role, you will lead the strategy, implementation, and maintenance of our internal IT infrastructure, corporate networks, and employee productivity tools. You will manage our global corporate IT footprint, oversee user provisioning and access management, enforce security policies, evaluate and optimize our SaaS landscape, provide technical support, integrate AI capabilities, and formulate disaster recovery plans. The ideal candidate has strong technical proficiency, experience supporting a distributed workforce, and a track record of incorporating AI tools to streamline IT workflows.
- Lead the strategy, implementation, and maintenance of Skylo’s internal IT infrastructure, corporate networks, and employee productivity tools.
- Oversee user provisioning, onboarding, and offboarding workflows using modern IAM tools, ensuring tight role-based access control.
- Partner with the InfoSec and Network Engineering teams to enforce rigid security policies, manage MDM solutions, and ensure readiness for SOC 2 or similar compliance frameworks.
- The ideal candidate has strong hands-on technical proficiency, experience supporting a cross-continental distributed workforce, and a proven track record of incorporating modern AI tools to streamline IT workflows
- System Environments: Extensive experience administering mixed-OS environments, with an emphasis on corporate macOS fleets via MDM, and cloud-first operations (Google Workspace/Enterprise)
- Experience: 6+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 2 years in an IT Lead or Managerial capacity within a fast-paced technology or telecommunications startup environment
- Networking: Strong foundational knowledge of corporate enterprise networking (Firewalls, VPNs, Zero Trust Network Access, VLANs, Wi-Fi 6)
- Mindset: Active habit of using AI workflows to solve manual automation tasks. High accountability and strong communication skills to manage cross-functional needs between Engineering, Finance, and HR
- Methodologies: Deep proficiency using Agile project management tools like JIRA to manage hardware rollouts and infrastructure sprints
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Prior experience in a telecom, MNO, or cloud-infrastructure company (understanding of cellular/satellite ecosystem data-handling is a major plus)
- Certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, AWS/GCP Cloud Practitioner, or Okta Certified Administrator
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Python) for automating API workflows across SaaS applications
