Manager of Accounting

As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee core accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain internal controls in compliance with US GAAP and company policies. You will also drive process improvements, leverage technology to enhance accounting workflows, and coordinate external audits. This role requires strong technical accounting expertise, experience managing the month-end close process, and the ability to improve processes through automation and systems.

• Oversee core accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain internal controls in compliance with US GAAP and company policies.
• Manage key components of the close process including preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for key balance sheet accounts.
• Research complex accounting matters and prepare technical accounting memos related to significant accounting matters, such as ASC 606 revenue recognition, ASC 842 lease accounting, and consolidation.
• The role requires strong technical accounting expertise, experience managing the month-end close process, and the ability to improve processes through automation and systems
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP with experience researching and documenting technical accounting conclusions
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• 6+ years of accounting experience including experience with Big 4 firms and technology companies
• Highly organized with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience using automation, analytics, or AI tools to improve accounting processes
• Experience with finance systems such as NetSuite, Ramp, FloQast, or similar accounting platforms
• Experience reviewing contracts and applying accounting guidance to complex transactions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
