About The Role

Join our rapidly expanding team as a Business Development Associate in the North East region. In this role, you will support strategies to increase premium production, manage established and newly onboarded partners, and collaborate with various teams to drive distribution and generate partner premium. You will also oversee a portfolio of emerging and lower-volume partners, provide pipeline support, and assist in the improvement of business development processes. This position offers a hybrid work environment, flexible PTO, 401(k) matching, comprehensive health coverage, and parental leave.

  • Support strategies to increase premium production in the region by managing established and newly onboarded partners.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, marketing, and growth teams to develop, manage, and drive distribution and generate partner premium.
  • Establish, track, and report on KPIs while routinely meeting or exceeding goals, and assist in the constant improvement of business development processes.
  • Experience in onboarding and guiding new customers to realize and repeat value
  • Strong phone and video skills, maintaining professionalism under pressure
  • 3+ years in a fast-paced sales role
  • Experience with disciplined execution of challenging opportunities that lead to results
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, able to discuss technical and business topics seamlessly
  • High-volume outreach and Structured Sales Execution:
  • Ability to identify issues and coach agents through the sales funnel by diving into individual submissions and collaborating with partners on opportunities
  • Consultative Sales & Deal Coaching Skills:
  • Mastery of multi-channel outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn, and in-person) using repeatable cadences
  • Ability to run effective discovery meetings and consistently secure next steps
  • Experience moving prospects efficiently from first touch to bind
  • Have experience in Metabase or similar software to pull, review, and analyze data
