Director of Revenue Accounting

Join Virta, a rapidly growing healthcare company, as the Director of Revenue Accounting. In this high-visibility role, you will lead all aspects of revenue accounting, oversee contract review for revenue recognition implications, and mentor a team of revenue accountants. You will partner with various departments to support accurate forecasting, reporting, and compliance, and drive continuous improvement in processes, systems, and controls. • Lead all aspects of revenue accounting, including month-end close, analysis and reporting, controls considerations and technical accounting under ASC 606.
• Oversee contract review for revenue recognition implications and ensure accurate reporting under ASC 606.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, systems, and controls to support scale and operational excellence.
• Experience in a fast-paced, public company environment
• 10+ years of progressive experience in public accounting and industry, with at least 3+ years focused on revenue accounting
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable processes and controls
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Excellent communication skills and ability to partner cross-functionally
• CPA with strong technical knowledge of ASC 606
• 3+ years in a leadership role managing teams and developing talent
• Comfortable working in a fully remote setting
