Founding Product Manager

Join our team as a Founding Product Manager, where you'll take ownership of a product layer that has been founder-owned until now. You'll work closely with the CTO, a founding engineering team, and customers to define the product roadmap. This role requires technical fluency, strong customer instincts, and the ability to operate with minimal structure. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, prioritizing work, managing project delivery, and improving connector quality and coverage. A background in product management, B2B SaaS, and technical experience is preferred.

• Gather requirements, prioritize work, unblock engineers, project-manage delivery, and close the loop with customers when things ship.
• Own the product experience for Ampersand connectors — an open-source project that drives the API-specific product features customers depend on.
• Help manage customer inquiries when questions require product judgment or a deeper understanding of a customer's implementation.
• You've worked directly alongside engineering teams to ship technical products
• A track record of making prioritization calls and defending them with data and customer context
• Strong customer discovery instincts; you find signal in conversations, not just dashboards
• Excellent written communication
• Professional engineering experience is a strong plus
• 3+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, developer tools, infrastructure, or enterprise software
• Technical enough to read API docs, review implementation tradeoffs, and push back on decisions that affect the customer experience
