Junior Data Engineer

Join our team as a Junior Data Engineer, where you'll design, build, and maintain production data pipelines that power customer-facing solutions. You'll work with GCP services like Cloud Composer, Cloud SQL, and BigQuery, and collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to define data requirements and design efficient data models. • Design, build, and maintain production data pipelines using Airflow and BigQuery, from initial design through to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
• Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to define data requirements, and design efficient and effective data models within BigQuery.
• Serve as the dedicated data engineering resource for Custom Solutions work, partnering closely with Data, Product, and Customer Success teams to translate client requirements into technical solutions.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills - you'll be working closely with analysts and other stakeholders
• Proven experience (2+ years) building and maintaining data pipelines using Airflow/Cloud Composer
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
• Experience with Git and cloud platforms (GCP preferred)
• Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI tools like Claude in your daily workflow
• Experience building and deploying interactive dashboards or data apps (e.g., Dash on Cloud Run) is a plus
• Strong understanding of data warehousing principles and experience working with BigQuery
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Understanding of data engineering fundamentals, like ETL/ELT, data modeling, and building idempotent, reliable pipelines
