Senior Software Engineer (Customer Experience)

Join our EXP Squad as a Senior Software Engineer, where you will build customer-facing APIs and backend systems that power enterprise IoT connectivity. You will own features end to end, from discovery and architectural design to rollout and iteration. Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and other engineering teams to translate complex requirements into clean technical solutions. Improve reliability, observability, testing practices, and architectural standards within your domain. Contribute to mentoring, hiring, and raising the engineering bar within the team.

• Design and deliver scalable, customer-facing backend capabilities from architecture to production.
• Drive API and system design decisions with long-term scalability, security, and maintainability in mind.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and other engineering teams to translate complex requirements into clean technical solutions.
• Strong experience building scalable backend systems with TypeScript and Node.js, ideally using NestJS
• Proven track record designing and evolving REST APIs in production environments
• Solid experience with AWS and Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform
• Hands-on experience with data modeling and performance optimization in SQL or NoSQL databases
• Demonstrated ability to own features end to end and make sound architectural trade-offs
