Security Lead

Join our fast-growing platform as a Security Lead. In this high-leverage role, you will set the technical direction for security across our Platform Team while staying hands-on. You will own our security architecture and roadmap, drive residual risk down, and lead a team of security engineers, GRC engineers, and IT. You will be the security partner for Engineering and Product on new initiatives, co-own audit readiness with GRC, and set the paved-road patterns that allow the rest of the organization to move fast and safely. • Deep IC experience - e.g has set the security direction for a meaningful org
• Has managed or tech-led 2–4 engineers before (formally or as tech lead with people responsibilities)
• Exposed to Backend / SRE (Python, Bash, Terraform)
• Strong on AWS, IAM, K8s, secrets, vuln mgmt, threat modeling, DevSecOps in CI/CD
• 5+ yrs in product / application / cloud security at a SaaS company
• Track record of measurably reducing org-wide risk (not just running programs)
• Influences without authority; can pull Eng/Product toward the right call
• Experience prepping for SOC 2 Type II + ISO 27001
• Security certifications (CISSP, CKS, AWS Security)
• Fintech / regulated industry experience
