Staff Software Engineer (Behavior Planning)

Join our team as a Staff Software Engineer specializing in Behavior Planning for autonomous driving. • Design, implement, and improve behavior planning and motion planning features for autonomous driving systems.
• Own planning projects from problem definition through deployment, including validation and analysis.
• Collaborate with teams across various domains, define success metrics, and mentor junior and senior engineers.
• Strong system-level judgment around safety, comfort, and deployment readiness
• Strong software engineering skills, preferably in C++
• Ability to debug complex robotics or autonomy behavior using logs, metrics, and simulation
• Experience in behavior planning, motion planning, decision-making, robotics, autonomous vehicles, or related areas
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Experience building autonomy software in industrial, production, or near-production environments
