Accounting Junior Advisor

Join Deloitte's Accounting & Reporting Advisory (ARA) Service, a dynamic and multicultural team specializing in IFRS, US GAAP, and LUX GAAP. As an Accounting Junior Advisor, you will conduct research and analysis, perform reviews of accounting policies and financial statements, assist with consolidation accounting challenges, prepare training materials, and develop a strong network with peers and clients. You will benefit from extensive training, career coaching, and exposure to different industries.

• Conduct research and analysis on specific operations (M&A, restructuring, financial instruments, etc.) to advise clients and/or support audit teams with accounting and financial reporting requirements.
• Perform reviews of accounting policies and financial statements under IFRS, Lux GAAP, and US GAAP.
• Assist with consolidation accounting challenges and prepare training materials to educate clients and Deloitte teams on recent accounting and financial reporting updates.

Profile description

• **Your skills**
• **Must have**

• Holding a Master’s degree in economics, finance, accounting, or a similar field **or** holding an internationally recognised professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, US CPA, DSCG, DEC, Luxembourgish IRE)
• Fluent in English
• Passion for performing research work on accounting topics under multiple GAAPs

**Nice to have**

• - Fluency in French and/or German and/or Luxembourgish
• Ability to think outside and beyond the box
• Being a strong team player who can also work independently, and enjoying both technical accounting and building relationships/networks
