Intern - Investment Fund Risk Analytics and Data Science - starting September/December 2026

Join Deloitte Luxembourg as an intern in the Investment Fund Risk Analytics and Data Science team. This role offers the opportunity to work on international projects, utilize cutting-edge technology, and gain access to an exclusive alumni network. You will analyze data, innovate and improve our analytics platform, engage in research and development, and cultivate an in-depth understanding of investment funds. Ideal candidates are in their last year of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Data Science, or related fields, have a keen interest in finance, and possess technical proficiency in tools such as Excel, Python, and SQL.

• Assister l'équipe et les clients dans leurs activités de traitement des données pour faciliter le processus de compilation des risques, des performances et des coûts.
• Participer activement à l'amélioration de la plateforme d'analyse en utilisant les dernières technologies, y compris les processus ETL, le scripting Python et les bases de données SQL.
• Participer à des projets de recherche internes qui mettent l'accent sur les risques, les coûts et les performances des fonds d'investissement.

Profile description

**Your skills**

• **Educational Background**: Be enrolled in your **last year** in Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Data Science or related fields.
• **Industry Enthusiast**: Demonstrate curiosity and a keen interest in finance and investment funds sector.
• **Analytical Mindset**: Be rigorous, quality-driven, and result-oriented, with exceptional analytical and synthetic skills. Utilize data science techniques to enhance analytical capabilities and deliver precise insights.
• **Effective Communicator**: Show strong communication capabilities, work autonomously, and thrive in team environments.
• **Technical Proficiency**: Possess knowledge and/or hands-on experience with advanced tools including Excel, ETL processes, Python, and SQL databases. Familiarity with data visualization tools such and machine learning applications is a plus.
• **Language Skills**: Be fluent in English; proficiency in French or German is considered a plus.
