Senior Software Engineer (Platform)

Join our Platform Engineering team as a Senior Software Engineer. You will take ownership of the development of our systems and applications, collaborate with technical stakeholders to build AI tooling for the enterprise, and support your team through mentorship and knowledge sharing. This hybrid role requires in-office work Tuesday through Thursday, with remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays. • Ownership of the development of systems and applications, particularly in building AI tooling for the enterprise.
• Collaboration with technical stakeholders and product managers to plan and scope products iteratively.
• Mentorship and knowledge sharing to support the engineers on the team, enhancing the collaborative environment.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
• Expertise with building software features, enterprise architecture, and API integration to facilitate first in class software
• Experience collaborating with product managers to plan and scope products iteratively
• 3+ years of experience in a full stack development role
• Proficiency in one or more object-oriented programming languages
• Project management skills, specifically the ability to oversee projects end-to-end, estimate work, and break up problems into deliverable parts
• The ability to solve complex problems in more than one language, and know why one of them is better
• Deployed multiple web applications from a full-stack perspective
• 1+ years of experience working with AI technologies, including building AI-powered tooling
• Experience with Ruby and Go is a plus
• Experience in the Finance domain is a nice-to-have
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and AWS tooling is a plus
