Business Data Analyst

Join Zipline, a company revolutionizing the delivery of medical supplies, food, and retail products. As a Business Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving business action through measurement, analysis, and reporting. You will work closely with marketing, commercial, and growth teams to prioritize campaigns, commercial opportunities, and growth initiatives. Your responsibilities will include analyzing customer behavior, commercial performance, and market dynamics, as well as building and maintaining business-facing dashboards and self-service reporting. You will also monitor performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and partner with data science, product, and business teams to improve data quality and reporting capabilities.

• Analyzing customer behavior, commercial performance, and market dynamics to inform business decisions.
• Defining KPI frameworks and metric definitions to provide a consistent view of progress against strategic priorities.
• Building and maintaining business-facing dashboards and self-service reporting to assess performance and plan action.
• 3+ years of experience delivering analytics or business intelligence work in analytics, operations, technology, logistics, eCommerce, or a related environment. - Advanced SQL proficiency and experience querying complex relational datasets
• Experience using AI tools to automate analytical workflows or recurring reporting, plus a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or related field
• Strong communication and business judgment, with evidence of helping technical and non-technical stakeholders act on data
• Ability to turn ambiguous commercial or growth questions into rigorous analyses, clear measurement approaches, and actionable recommendations
• Experience building business-facing dashboards in Sigma, Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or a similar platform
• Familiarity with data warehouses such as Snowflake or Redshift and a scripting language such as Python
