About The Role
Join Zipline's Community Engagement Team as a Fall 2026 intern. You'll play a vital role in building and maintaining relationships with local government officials, civic organizations, business groups, neighborhoods, and schools. Your work will help individuals and organizations understand the impact of Zipline's service on the community, job creation, and the future of logistics. Responsibilities include designing and implementing community engagement strategies, planning and executing events, developing content for communication channels, responding to community inquiries, conducting research, tracking engagement metrics, and providing administrative support. This role requires frequent travel throughout Dallas, Austin, or Phoenix, and a passion for community building and social impact.

- Must be able to travel frequently throughout Dallas, Texas, Austin, Texas, OR Phoenix, Arizona. Requires transportation (not company provided) and the ability to independently travel to operational sites, events, communities, and partner locations as needed
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Creative thinker who brings enthusiasm and initiative
- Passion for community building and social impact
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with social media platforms and/or digital tools for community engagement (e.g., Slack, Facebook Groups)
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field. You must have completed the second year of your undergraduate studies
