About The Role

Join ezCater as a Senior Product Designer for Admin Experiences. In this role, you will design intuitive admin experiences for meal programs and enterprise catering. You will collaborate with various teams to create scalable and durable product experiences, shape the end-to-end admin experience, and use data and experimentation to guide iteration. You will also facilitate alignment across disciplines and teams and use AI-powered tools to enhance the design process. Benefits include unlimited vacation, stock options, medical and dental insurance, and more.

  • The admin experience is where enterprise trust is won or lost, and where you'll have an outsized impact on ezCater's growth
  • Experience designing for complex, multi-step journeys, ideally in areas like admin tools, dashboards, or multi-sided marketplaces
  • Well-developed collaboration and facilitation skills. You’re as thoughtful about how teams work together as you are about the pixels
  • A detailed portfolio that showcases:
  • Proficiency with the Figma suite, Claude design, and prototyping tools
  • The customer and business impact of your work (ideally including activation, retention, or operational improvements)
  • Experience designing with and contributing to a robust design system
  • A positive attitude and the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback, as well as regularly seeking feedback on your own performance
  • Comfortable working closely with non-engineering partners like Sales, Account Management, and Support, and translating their frontline context into product strategy and design decisions
  • 5+ years of experience as a product designer, user experience designer, interaction designer, or similar role, with accompanying experience in visual/graphic design
  • A sharp mind, a soft heart, and a large funny bone
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills that show you can explain complex flows and tradeoffs in ways that resonate with both technical and non-technical partners
  • How you’ve tackled complicated, multi-stakeholder problems
  • How your process moves from discovery through launch and iteration
  • A track record of shaping what teams work on, not just how it looks – helping teams move from shipping tickets to solving clearly framed problems with measurable outcomes
  • Ability to travel up to 5 days per quarter for Together Weeks, team gatherings and other events, when applicable
  • Experience designing for B2B admin personas: procurement leads, finance admins, IT or HR decision-makers, or account managers
  • Experience in the restaurant, catering, delivery, or gig space
  • Experience designing onboarding flows, activation experiences, or product-led growth motions
  • Experience with service design, journey mapping, or complex operational workflows that cross multiple teams and tools
  • Familiarity with approaches like Jobs To Be Done, systems thinking, or other frameworks for structuring complex problem spaces
  • Experience working in experimentation-heavy environments (e.g., A/B testing, incremental UX improvements guided by data)
