Solution Architect (SFIA 5)

Join Zaizi, a leading digital transformation company, as a Solution Architect. In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of mission-critical digital services for the UK's Public Safety sector. You will work with modern cloud-native architectures, open source technologies, and Agile and DevSecOps practices. As a trusted technical leader, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary delivery teams, customers, and senior stakeholders to define architectural direction and drive successful delivery.

• Lead the architecture and technical design of secure, scalable, cloud-native solutions across multiple programmes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary delivery teams, customers, and senior stakeholders to define architectural direction and drive successful delivery.
• Mentor and support other architects and engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
• The ideal candidate will bring a strong software engineering background, having progressed into architecture through hands-on development experience. This practical foundation enables you to make pragmatic technical decisions, mentor engineering teams, and bridge the gap between strategy and implementation
• Solution Architecture and Technical Design
• Strong software engineering background with previous hands-on development experience
• Cloud platforms, ideally AWS
• Security architecture and secure-by-design principles
• Open Source technologies and frameworks
• Experience with one or more programming languages such as Golang, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python
• DevOps and DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code
• Containers and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Identity and Access Management (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, IAM)
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments and cross-functional engineering teams
• Cloud-native architectures and distributed systems
