About The Role

Join Abridge, a fast-growing healthcare technology startup, as a Design Operations Manager. In this role, you will shape the design team's operations, partner with product design leadership, research, engineering, and product management, and oversee asset management practices. You will also manage external vendors and contractors, align OKRs, roadmaps, and delivery milestones, and facilitate retrospectives and continuous improvement efforts.   • High organizational rigor paired with a bias for action—you're comfortable getting in the weeds to move things forward
  • A track record of building and scaling 0-to-1 operational systems across multidisciplinary teams—balancing long-term vision with hands-on execution
  • Deep familiarity with the design and product development lifecycle—from early research and concepting through delivery and iteration
  • 8+ years of experience in design operations within high-growth technology environments
  • Experience managing shared design tools, assets, and libraries to support consistency and efficiency at scale
  • The ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and solve problems in real time to help teams keep moving
  • You've worked in a healthcare technology or regulated-industry environment and understand the nuance that comes with it
  • You have experience supporting design teams through periods of rapid organizational or product scale
