Deal Executive

Join Duetti as a Deal Executive, where you will negotiate, sign, and close catalog acquisition deals with artists and songwriters. You will work closely with various teams, including A&R, Underwriting, Legal, and Finance, to ensure that acquisitions meet both the company's and artists' objectives. Your role will have a direct impact on the lives of hundreds of music creators, helping them grow both professionally and financially.

• Negotiate, sign, and close catalog acquisition deals with artists, songwriters, and other music creators.
• Lead the acquisition process by collaborating with Duetti’s A&R, Underwriting, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure deals meet both the company's and artist’s objectives.
• Project manage deals end-to-end, working closely with the Head of Sourcing and Sourcing Operations to ensure a healthy pipeline through data-driven assessments.
• Ability to quickly interpret and synthesize legal agreements
• Experience in opportunity and risk assessment, with an ability to make informed decisions during negotiations and diligence
• Strong analytical skills, with an ability to interpret and manipulate complex and unstructured data
• Proven attention to detail, strong work ethic and enthusiasm for working in an early stage start-up environment that requires “self starters” and problem solvers
• 2+ years of proven experience in private equity, investment banking, or other relevant finance or professional services role
• An understanding of the music industry, and an ability to interpret and navigate complex deal structures fluidly
• A love for music and culture, and a desire to be at the forefront of new business models for artists
