Product Manager (Hardware)

Join Formlabs as a Hardware Product Manager, where you'll define and drive new hardware products to completion, ensuring customer satisfaction and business success. You'll work closely with engineering, develop product requirements, prioritize features, and oversee the product through development to shipping. This role requires a deep understanding of customers, business, competitors, and technology, as well as experience in shipping software-enabled hardware products.

• Defining and driving new hardware products to completion, ensuring customer satisfaction and business success.
• Identifying immediate and/or upcoming user needs, developing product requirements and a product roadmap that addresses them.
• Managing collaboration and communication with other teams, both internal and external, to ensure teams have what they need and can work efficiently.
• Experience shipping software-enabled hardware product to customers (or convince us why this doesn’t matter)
• Make data driven decisions
• Clear communicator, both written and oral
• Experience as a product founder or experience leading products in a startup environment
• Process oriented mindset
• Hardware engineering or physics background
• MBA or experience in a consulting role
• Mechanical or electrical engineering degree
• Familiarity with manufacturing, regulatory, or product standards and compliance in industries like healthcare, pharma, or life sciences
• Experience with 3D printing technologies and materials
