Finance Shared Services GL Accountant

Join Charlotte Tilbury, a leading beauty brand, as a GL Accountant in our newly created Finance Shared Services function. In this role, you will maintain the general ledger, ensure consistency of accounting and reporting across all regions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function. You will also be responsible for maintaining the global fixed asset register, posting payroll journals, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. • Maintaining the general ledger across the group, ensuring consistency of accounting and reporting across all regions.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in general ledger activities.
• Practical knowledge of UKGAAP/IFRS
• Deadline oriented with a commitment to accuracy
• Independent thinker and driven to achieve best results
• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Competent in the fundamentals of accounting
• Demonstrable understanding of end-to-end finance processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Ability to prioritise and provide follow up in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in ERP systems and financial software (NetSuite experience is a plus)
• Keen attention to detail
