Senior Finance Analyst (Central & People Costs)

Join our team as a Senior Finance Analyst, where you will play a crucial role in managing and forecasting all 'People' costs and overseeing the financials for Central OPEX Functions. You will work closely with the People Team and the Finance Manager, attend month-end meetings, prepare commentary for actuals vs budget/forecast, and identify key risks and opportunities. Additionally, you will support the preparation of annual budgets and regular reforecasts, complete financial modeling, and implement the Group's internal controls. • Support the People Team and Finance Manager in controlling, forecasting, and reporting all 'People' costs, and managing financials for Central OPEX Functions.
• Attend month-end meetings with stakeholders to discuss monthly performance, prepare month-end commentary for actuals vs budget/forecast, and identify key risks and opportunities.
• Support the preparation of annual budgets and regular reforecasts for Central Payroll and Central Functions, and complete financial modeling and other ad hoc projects as required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, having the confidence to communicate clearly with senior management and cross-functional stakeholders (both finance and non-finance)
• Experience using Anaplan (or a similar forecasting system) desirable
• Highly organised and able to prioritise workload effectively within a fast paced, scaling business
• Flexible & proactive, with curiosity and eagerness to learn
• Ability to think logically and methodically, with excellent attention to detail
• Experience using Microsoft Powerpoint
• Advanced Excel skills with experience of building and working with models, reports and large data sets
• Previous experience in Retail/FMCG desirable
• Qualified / Newly Qualified Accountant – ACA/CIMA/ACCA equivalent
