Software Engineer (Scale Out)

Join Tenstorrent, a cutting-edge AI hardware company, as a Software Engineer (Scale Out). In this hybrid role based in Toronto, ON, you will contribute to the development and optimization of the infrastructure that powers our advanced processors. You will work closely with large inference and training model development, design and maintain core infrastructure software, optimize system-level software, support hardware bring-up and system testing, and integrate infrastructure components with internal programming models and tools. This position offers the opportunity to learn about Tenstorrent's AI hardware, distributed accelerator systems, advanced system-level performance tuning, and the challenges of building reliable infrastructure for large-scale AI workloads.

• Contribuer au développement et à l'optimisation de l'infrastructure qui alimente les processeurs de pointe, en mettant l'accent sur le développement en C/C++ et la programmation de bas niveau.

• Structured problem solver who thrives in fast-paced, highly technical environments
• Strong C or C++ systems engineer with a deep understanding of memory, threading, I/O, and low-level execution models
• Comfortable working close to hardware and curious about how systems behave under the hood
• Experienced building low-level software, drivers, embedded systems, or performance-critical infrastructure
• Proficient with Linux systems programming and debugging tools such as gdb, strace, and perf
