IT Cloud Engineer (6 Month Contract)

Join People Inc. as an IT Cloud Engineer for a 6-month contract. You will support, maintain, and modernize enterprise infrastructure during data-center decommissioning and cloud migrations. Your responsibilities will include administering Windows Server operations, managing identity integrations, executing app migrations, building monitoring dashboards, managing cloud workloads, and delivering automation tools. You will also be involved in change management, documentation, and accountability metrics. • Support, maintain, and modernize enterprise infrastructure during data-center decommissioning and cloud migrations.
• Administer Windows Server operations, identity integrations (Okta–AD/Azure-AD), automation, and hybrid cloud services.
• Execute NYC data-center app migrations, assist Nutanix decommission, administer Rubrik backups and Sectigo certificates.
• 5+ years in systems administration or infrastructure engineering
• Deep knowledge of Okta, Active Directory, Azure AD integrations
• Scripting with PowerShell (preferred), plus Python or Bash
• Strong Windows Server and patch automation experience
• Hands‑on with AWS, Azure, or GCP (IAM, compute/storage, networking)
• Experience with Linux, Nutanix, Rubrik
• Familiarity with Docker/containers
• Excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder communication
• Preferred: Cloud‑migration background, ITIL knowledge, Microsoft Administrator or cloud certifications
• Monitoring/logging with Prometheus/Grafana, Loki, Splunk, or ELK
