Back End engineer

Join Volta, a leading B2B SaaS company, as a Back End Engineer on the Connect team. In this role, you will be responsible for integrating Volta with clients' ERPs, handling the full delivery lifecycle, and troubleshooting issues post-launch. You will have the opportunity to directly interact with clients and shape how Volta evolves for the French market.

• Participer aux réunions préliminaires avec les clients français pour comprendre leur environnement technique et définir l'étendue de l'intégration.
• Concevoir et développer des intégrations backend en Python pour connecter Volta aux ERP, catalogues, API et pipelines de données.
• Assurer la livraison complète du projet, de la définition des spécifications à la mise en service, en passant par la construction de la solution.

### Must-haves

• 5+ years of backend development experience
• Strong experience with modern Python for critical production systems
• Proven experience integrating with ERPs, REST APIs, or complex data pipelines
• Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server, or Oracle)
• Understanding of distributed systems concepts and API design patterns
• Confident and comfortable in client-facing conversations — you can run a kickoff meeting and earn trust fast
• Strong ownership mindset: you don't wait for tickets, you drive outcomes
• Based in France, fluent in **French and English**

• Familiarity with wholesale, distribution, or order management domains
