About The Role

Join Pixalate, a leading technology company in the adtech industry, as a Contracts Counsel. In this role, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a high volume of commercial agreements, serving as the primary legal point of contact for Sales and Business Development. You will also manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, advise internal stakeholders on contract terms and legal risks, and support corporate governance activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Counsel who thrives in a fast-paced technology environment.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of technology and data licensing agreements, SaaS contracts, partnership deals, and vendor agreements.
  • Serve as the primary legal point of contact for Sales and Business Development on all contract-related matters, and manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain standard contract templates, playbooks, and fallback positions to streamline the contracting process, and advise internal stakeholders on contract terms.
  • Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating complex technology contracts, including SaaS, data licensing, API, and platform agreements
  • Proficiency with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools and legal technology platforms
  • Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders
  • Experience in the adtech, martech, digital media, or data intelligence space strongly preferred
  • 4–7 years of relevant legal experience, with a strong focus on commercial/technology transactions (law firm and/or in-house)
  • Solid understanding of data privacy law (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA) and how privacy requirements intersect with commercial agreements
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Juris Doctor (JD); admission to at least one U.S. state bar (required)
  • Experience with programmatic advertising, real-time bidding (RTB), supply path optimization, or connected TV (CTV) platforms
  • Familiarity with MRC standards, IAB frameworks, or digital ad industry self-regulatory bodies
  • Experience supporting enterprise SaaS sales cycles and working directly with revenue-generating teams
  • Exposure to IP licensing, open-source compliance, or AI/ML data use agreements
