Project and Release Manager (Canada)

Join our team as a Project and Release Manager in Canada. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end sprint process for various engineering teams, coordinate QA efforts, control the system release scope, and drive cross-team special engineering projects. You will also facilitate and organize system release activities, drive the incident response process, and participate in regular status meetings. • Gérer et diriger le processus de sprint de bout en bout pour diverses équipes d'ingénierie, faciliter la planification des sprints et clarifier les exigences.
• Posséder et exécuter des métriques pour l'ensemble de l'équipe d'ingénierie afin de surveiller la productivité et l'efficacité du développement.
• Coordonner les efforts de QA pour les développements d'ingénierie et la correction de bogues afin de respecter le calendrier de publication du système.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or STEM discipline or experience in software environment
• Hands-on enterprise cloud software experiences
• Ability to break down complex projects and requirements into trackable milestones
• Resourceful, detailed-oriented, self-motivated and proactive mentality
• Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels within an organization
• Experience with or understanding of agile software development methodology, e.g. Scrum
• Bilingual language skills (English / Chinese)
• Obsession with process, deadlines and accountability
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence or other project tracking tools
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS etc.) and/or big data infrastructure
• Background in machine learning or data science
• Skills and knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, and transparency
