About The Role
Join Archer, a pioneering company in the electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft industry. As a Software Project Manager, you will be responsible for the performance and delivery of embedded, safety-critical flight software work packages on the Archer Midnight aircraft. You will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, manage the full lifecycle development of software, and drive on-time execution. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in software engineering program management and a strong understanding of complex systems.

- Minimum Experience Requirements: 3 years of experience as Software Engineering Program Manager or related job title in which experience managing software projects and processes across multiple industries and functional areas, applying Agile methodologies, process design, and system analysis in diverse technical and business environments was gained
- Alternate Experience Requirements: 5 years of experience as Software Engineering Program Manager or related job title in which experience managing software projects and processes across multiple industries and functional areas, applying Agile methodologies, process design, and system analysis in diverse technical and business environments was gained
- Special Requirements: Must have skills with complex systems (like control systems, microgrids or safety critical industrial processes)
- Must have understanding of interplay between software processes supporting complex system product development (including requirements, design, and testing) in support of new product introduction
