Staff Software Engineer (Full Stack)

Join Archer, an aerospace company focused on sustainable air mobility. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain Archer's internal tooling ecosystem, solving complex workflow problems and deploying Generative AI solutions. You will collaborate with various teams, build custom web applications, and mentor a team of engineers.

• Conception, développement et maintenance de l'écosystème d'outils internes d'Archer, en agissant comme un multiplicateur de force pour l'ensemble de l'organisation.
• Identification, développement et maintenance d'outils personnalisés pour automatiser divers flux de travail, en collaboration avec l'équipe de données pour construire une application web personnalisée.
• Gestion des pipelines CI/CD et de l'infrastructure cloud nécessaires à l'hébergement sécurisé des outils internes, en mentorant une équipe d'ingénieurs.
• Strong proficiency in React ecosystem and modern CSS frameworks
• Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
• Experience building with Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to connect data sources to LLMs
• Experience with designing data models for custom complex applications
• Experience in aerospace or a related field, particularly with flight test data analysis and aircraft health monitoring
• Hands-on experience integrating Gen AI via API and a familiarity with employing RAG in custom applications
• Deep expertise with backend building RESTful APIs and scalable containerized applications through kubernetes or related frameworks
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field
• Knowledge of visualization technologies such as D3.js, Plotly, Grafana, Superset, or related technologies
• Clear communication skills that are essential for working across diverse stakeholders
• Expertise with one or more cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
• At least 4 years of experience in full-stack software development adopting best practices
• Solid foundation in building tools for hardware, IoT, especially processing and analyzing time-series data
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Previous experience with coaching and managing a small engineering team
