About The Role

Join Vendelux as a People & Talent Generalist, where you'll lead the full people operations function, focusing on onboarding, career development, performance, compliance, and culture. You'll work closely with leadership on org design, compensation strategy, and workforce planning, while also being a trusted resource for employees. Your responsibilities will include designing and running programs for onboarding, engagement, performance, and development, maintaining legally compliant policies, and managing employee relations. You'll also track and report on people metrics and own the HRIS and people tech stack.

  • 5+ years in an HR Generalist or HRBP role — no recruiting scope required or expected
  • Deep knowledge of employment law and HR compliance across multiple states (NY required)
  • Proven ability to build HR programs and policies from scratch — not just inherit and maintain them
  • Experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS or tech startup; early or solo HR hire experience strongly preferred
  • Data-fluent: comfortable tracking people metrics and presenting insights clearly to leadership
  • High-ownership mindset: you do what needs doing, whether it’s strategic or administrative
  • Exceptional communicator — able to write clear policy, facilitate hard conversations, and influence at the C-suite level
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field; SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR a plus
  • Excellent judgment in sensitive employee relations situations — trusted, discreet, and consistent
  • Not all candidates will check all of the requirements listed above and that’s ok! We are open to great people from non-traditional backgrounds
