About The Role

Join Farther, a rapidly growing fintech company, as a Senior Mobile Engineer. In this role, you will build exceptional mobile experiences using React Native, Expo, and TypeScript. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver complete experiences and contribute to mobile architecture decisions. You will also have the opportunity to mentor other engineers and take ownership of significant mobile features. After gaining context on our platform, you may have the chance to rotate onto the Forward Deployed team to work directly with advisors on urgent challenges.

6+ years of mobile development experience, with at least 3 years in React Native
Product-focused mindset - excited about shipping features that solve real user problems
Track record of delivering high-quality mobile experiences on schedule
Excited about contributing to a fast-growing fintech company
Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and modern mobile development practices
Experience building complex, data-intensive mobile applications
Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Experience in fintech or financial services mobile applications
Knowledge of mobile security best practices and compliance requirements
Native iOS or Android development background
Previous consulting or customer-facing technical roles
Experience with financial data visualization in mobile contexts
Background in rapid prototyping or startup environments
Familiarity with offline-first mobile architectures
Interest in eventually rotating onto the Forward Deployed team
Experience with mobile CI/CD and testing frameworks
