About The Role

Join our rapidly growing venture-backed firm as a Senior Software Engineer (Test Infrastructure). In this role, you will design and build robust tooling and testing infrastructure to support engineering workflows across our frontend and backend systems. You will collaborate closely with engineers to ensure code is testable, traceable, and properly instrumented, and you will drive key technical decisions for testing infrastructure that supports our critical trading systems and portfolio management platform.

Design, build, and maintain robust tooling and testing infrastructure to support engineering workflows across frontend and backend systems.
Build intelligent CI/CD pipelines that run tests efficiently through advanced techniques like file-change tracking, smart test selection, and parallelization strategies.
Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure code is testable, traceable, and properly instrumented to build confidence in deployments.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
Experience with monitoring and observability tools for test infrastructure
Experience with containerization and orchestration for test environments
5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on testing infrastructure, developer tooling, or platform engineering
Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and modern testing frameworks (Jest, Vitest, Cypress, Playwright)
Strong written communication skills and documentation practices
Knowledge of database testing strategies and test data management
Experience with infrastructure as code (CDK, Terraform, or similar)
Solid understanding of test automation patterns, mocking strategies, and test environment management
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex testing issues
Strong foundation in software engineering principles and system design
Experience with financial services or regulated industry testing requirements
Knowledge of property-based testing and fuzzing techniques
Experience with distributed testing and load testing frameworks
Familiarity with Scala or Python testing ecosystems
Background in building developer productivity tools
Experience with test reporting and analytics platforms
Knowledge of security testing and compliance validation
