About The Role

Join Turion Space as an Embedded Test Engineer, where you will be responsible for designing and developing the Flight Software testing framework, tools, strategy, and procedures. You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure that flight software meets performance, reliability, and mission-specific requirements. Design and develop Turion’s Flight Software testing framework, tools, strategy, and procedures.
Engage with flight software developers and operators to support qualifying software for flight, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams.
Develop and maintain a testing framework for automated testing of spacecraft software in HITL and SITL environments.
Experience writing automated software tests for HITL/SITL environments
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
2+ years of experience in embedded software or test development
Experience using C/C++ for an embedded system
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve software and hardware issues effectively with little to no supervision
Project or work experience in the space, automotive and robotic sectors
Software testing tools and frameworks such as Google Test, CppUnit, Pytest, etc
Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) for embedded software
Different testing techniques such as performance, regression, integration, unit, and load testing
