Market Development Representative

Join PitchBook as a Market Development Representative, where you'll engage and convert inbound leads into new sales opportunities for our SMB Sales Team. You'll have access to extensive training and development opportunities, and you'll be at the forefront of emerging trends and technologies. Prior sales internship experience is preferred, but not necessary.

• Engage and convert inbound leads into new sales opportunities for the SMB Sales Team through consistent outreach.
• Book qualified product demonstrations for the sales team by connecting with leads through written and verbal communication.
• Act as a consultant to understand prospects' needs and business priorities, conducting thorough discovery both pre-call and during the call.
• Prior sales internship experience preferred but not necessary
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A self-starter with a competitive spirit but also team oriented
• Demonstrate fearless curiosity and operate with a strong sense of urgency to deliver results
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
• Prior experience with tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, and LeanData/BookIt preferred but not necessary
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Maintain prioritization and organization based on team strategy and goals
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily
• Possess strong negotiation skills to effectively book inbound leads
• Interested in the capital markets
