Senior Data Scientist

Join Roku as a Senior Data Scientist on the Core Analytics team. In this role, you will leverage data analytics to improve onboarding experiences, identify trends and risks, and guide strategic product and business decisions. You will partner with product management and engineering teams to identify new features, drive adoption, and develop solutions that track, monitor, and improve the onboarding ecosystem. This position offers the opportunity to solve complex analytical problems that directly impact millions of users across the Roku platform.

• Leveraging data analytics to improve onboarding experiences, identify trends and risks, and guide strategic product and business decisions.
• Partnering with product management and engineering teams to identify new features, drive adoption, and develop solutions that track, monitor, and improve the onboarding ecosystem.
• Developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for operational and systems health metrics, and aligning data science initiatives with organizational goals.
• 5+ years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience supporting user onboarding, consumer products, digital media, or entertainment domains
• Hands-on experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and take initiative in resolving issues
• Experience with A/B testing, statistical modeling, or forecasting
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science
• Experience using AI and Large Language Models to enhance productivity and analytical workflows
• Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, or other programming languages for querying and analysis
