Senior Data Scientist

Join Roku as a Senior Data Scientist in the Core Analytics team supporting the Roku TV organization. In this role, you will analyze large-scale data sets, develop dashboards, design experimentation frameworks, and build data pipelines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data science initiatives with organizational goals. The ideal candidate has a strong background in data analytics, statistical modeling, and data visualization tools.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to align data science initiatives with organizational goals.
• Retrieve, manipulate, analyze, and visualize large-scale data sets to fuel significant business decisions, including developing and maintaining dashboards.
• Design and execute A/B tests and experimentation frameworks to improve the customer streaming experience.
• The ideal candidate brings deep curiosity, creative problem-solving skills, and a strong ownership mindset spanning the full lifecycle from ideation to post-launch tracking
• Experience with statistical modeling and leveraging AI/LLM tools to enhance analytical workflows
• Strong command of SQL with experience working in Big Data environments
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple workstreams across distributed teams
• Investigative mindset with a passion for root-cause analysis and problem-solving
• Strong understanding of statistics, including A/B experimentation and statistical inference
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex findings and present insights to diverse audiences including senior leadership
• Academic background in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker
• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modeling
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or business intelligence
