Director of Engineering (Okta Integration Network)

Join Okta, the leading identity provider for the enterprise. As the Director of Engineering for the Okta Integration Network, you will lead the engineering charter for a platform that powers over 8,000 integrations across the Okta ecosystem. You will oversee distributed teams in the US and India, shape the roadmap for cross-app identity security, and partner closely with product, security, and AI teams. This role requires exceptional cross-geo leadership, strong architectural judgment, and a passion for developing engineering talent.

• Lead the engineering charter for the Okta Integration Network, overseeing distributed teams and delivering secure, scalable integration capabilities.
• Shape the roadmap for cross-app identity security, expanding the OIN catalog and strengthening enterprise-grade extensibility.
• Drive strategic adoption of AI tooling and automation within engineering processes to unlock velocity improvements.
• 12+ years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of leading high-performing engineering organizations, including experience managing other managers
• Exceptional coaching and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing engineering talent at all levels
• Experience with public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) and container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes is highly desirable
• Demonstrated success in collaborating with product and design counterparts to build and execute a long-term, customer-focused roadmap
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a large, globally distributed organization
