About The Role
Join Okta, the leading identity provider for the enterprise. As the Director of Engineering for the Okta Integration Network, you will lead the engineering charter for a platform that powers over 8,000 integrations across the Okta ecosystem. You will oversee distributed teams in the US and India, shape the roadmap for cross-app identity security, and partner closely with product, security, and AI teams. This role requires exceptional cross-geo leadership, strong architectural judgment, and a passion for developing engineering talent.
- Lead the engineering charter for the Okta Integration Network, overseeing distributed teams and delivering secure, scalable integration capabilities.
- Shape the roadmap for cross-app identity security, expanding the OIN catalog and strengthening enterprise-grade extensibility.
- Drive strategic adoption of AI tooling and automation within engineering processes to unlock velocity improvements.
- 12+ years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of leading high-performing engineering organizations, including experience managing other managers
- Exceptional coaching and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing engineering talent at all levels
- Experience with public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) and container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes is highly desirable
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with product and design counterparts to build and execute a long-term, customer-focused roadmap
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a large, globally distributed organization
