Staff Site Reliability Engineer (Observability)

Join our team as a Staff Site Reliability Engineer (Observability) and take ownership of expanding our Observability ecosystem into Google Cloud. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable observability infrastructure, optimize the collection and processing of observability data, and participate in incident response. You will also automate the deployment and scaling of observability agents and collectors. • Concevoir, construire et maintenir une infrastructure d'observabilité évolutive en utilisant des outils comme Terraform.
• Optimiser la collecte, le traitement et le stockage des données d'observabilité pour garantir une haute fiabilité et une faible latence de nos services Splunk et Grafana.
• Participer aux rotations d'astreinte et diriger les revues post-incident pour favoriser les améliorations systémiques et le développement axé sur l'observabilité.
• Minimum 5+ Experience scaling and managing observability in a Google Cloud platform
• Expertise in creating intuitive, actionable Splunk or Grafana dashboards that correlate data across multiple sources
• Problem Solving: A data-driven approach to debugging complex, cross-service performance bottlenecks
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in an SRE, DevOps, or Systems Engineering role with a focus on high-availability systems
• Distributed Systems: Deep understanding of Linux internals, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing), and container orchestration (Kubernetes/GKE)
• Programming Proficiency: Strong coding skills in Python, Go for building internal tools and automating workflows
• Telemetry Standards: Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry (OTel), Vector, or similar frameworks for instrumenting applications
• Grafana Loki: Experience in migrating Splunk to Grafana Loki
• Other Cloud Platforms: Experience managing observability native tools within AWS
